FOR INMEDIATE RELEASE: The Miss Universe Organization wishes to once again emphasize and make unequivocally clear that the only official website authorized to issue communications on behalf of the Miss Universe Organization is: www.missuniverseorg.com
Any statement, notice, publication, or communication issued through any other unauthorized channels should not be regarded as an official communication of the Organization unless expressly confirmed through the official website referenced above.
The account from which a recently circulated statement was published has been unlawfully seized and is no longer under the control of the Miss Universe Organization.
The account is currently being retained and used without authorization by Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil and associated parties, including for the dissemination of information that does not represent the official position of the Organization.
We therefore urge all National Directors, delegates, business partners, media representatives, stakeholders, and members of the public to disregard communications originating from unauthorized channels and to rely exclusively on information formally issued or confirmed by the Miss Universe Organization through its authorized sources.
Regarding the September 2 Global Town Hall
Hall
The Miss Universe Organization categorically rejects the claim that more than ten National Directors were denied access to, or removed from, the September 2 National Directors’ Town Hall.
More than 100 countries participated in the town hall, during which National Directors received direct, first-hand information from the leadership of the Miss Universe Organization regarding matters of importance to the international organization and the upcoming 75th Anniversary competition.
Feedback received from participating countries following the session was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees confirmed that they felt well-informed and appreciated the opportunity to receive accurate information directly from the Organization's leadership.
The only individuals who were not granted access to the National Directors’ Town Hall were representatives of the Miss Universe Thailand franchise, including Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil and members of his team.
This decision was made in light of recent circumstances and conduct, including personal and unfounded attacks directed against the Organization and its leadership.
The Miss Universe Organization remains committed to conducting its affairs with professionalism, transparency, institutional integrity, and respect.
We will continue to uphold these principles and expect all individuals and entities associated with the Miss Universe brand to conduct themselves in accordance with the professional standards, responsibilities, and values required by the Organization. Miss Universe Thailand Participation
Furthermore, the Miss Universe Organization wishes to inform its National Directors, delegates, partners, stakeholders, and the international community that its leadership is currently evaluating the participation of Miss Universe Thailand in the upcoming Miss Universe 75th Anniversary competition to be held in Puerto Rico this November.
The Organization expressly reserves all rights in connection with this matter, including the right to take any measures deemed appropriate, at such time and in such manner as may be necessary, consistent with their contractual rights and obligations.
Until an official determination is communicated, stakeholders are respectfully requested to refrain from speculation and to rely solely upon official communications issued by the Miss Universe Organization.
The Miss Universe Organization remains fully focused on its global mission, its National Directors and delegates, and the successful celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Miss Universe.
